Our workshops are taught by practising researchers and data specialists who use these tools in real projects every day. Sessions are hands-on and practical — you work on your own data or a real case study, not abstract exercises. By the end of each workshop, you leave with skills you can apply immediately to your thesis, research project, or professional work.
All workshops are available online (live Zoom sessions) and in-person at our Dhaka training centre. Institutional bookings for universities, NGOs, and government departments are welcome.

Do I need prior experience to join a workshop?▼
Most of our workshops are designed for beginners to intermediate level — no prior experience is needed for SPSS, QGIS, or Research Methodology workshops. For R and Python workshops, basic computer literacy is helpful but no programming experience is required. Each workshop listing clearly states the required level.
Can I get a group discount for my department or organisation?▼
Yes — group registrations of 5 or more participants receive a discount. For institutional bookings (an entire department, NGO team, or government office), we offer customised private workshops at negotiated rates. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
What software do I need for the online workshops?▼
You need the relevant software installed (SPSS, QGIS, R, or Python — all free or trial versions available). You also need Zoom for the live session. We send full setup instructions and a pre-workshop checklist when you register so you arrive ready to start.
Is the certificate internationally recognised?▼
Our certificates are issued by DSD Research Firm and are recognised by our 11 university partners in Bangladesh and internationally. They carry weight with academic supervisors, NGO employers, and funding bodies who recognise DSD as a credible training provider. They are not government-accredited formal qualifications.
Can I bring my own thesis data to work on?▼
Absolutely — and we encourage it. The most effective learning happens when you work on your own real data. Bring your dataset and we'll help you apply the techniques directly to your own research during the session. If you don't have data yet, we provide practice datasets.
When are the next workshops scheduled?▼
We run workshops regularly — typically 2–4 per month. Upcoming dates are announced on our Facebook page and via our newsletter. Register through the order form and we'll notify you of the next available session for your chosen workshop. Private institutional workshops can be scheduled at any time.
